1969 Plymouth Road Runner
426 HEMI - Convertible
The Rotary Club of Fenelon Falls would like to thanks all those who purchased tickets on our 2008 car. Without your support we would not be able to help the many charitable organizations that come to us looking for assistance.
This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner started it life as a 383 car and now has a "crate 426 Hemi" with a single 4 barrel carburetor and an air grabber hood. It is a low mileage car with the body having a little under 20,000 miles, and has had a complete restoration.
The car has most of the original interior and also has a new top. This beautiful classic car is also equipped with new Magnum 500 rims and red line tires.
The car was used by the Alzheimer's Foundation in Florida as a raffle car in 2007. Rob Wolf writer for The Mopar Collector Guide wrote an article about the car in the Feb 2007 issue.
After the raffle in Florida the winner sold the car to George Roland in Adel Georgia. After enjoying the car for about a year he decided to sell it. It was advertised on the web site www. CarsOnLine
The Rotary Club of Fenelon Falls contacted Mr. Roland and a deal was made for the Rotary Club to purchase the car. It will now be used again to help out those less fortunate.
